An amazing tour(s). Definitely the best part of my trip thus far.
Ksenija was very knowledgeable, personable, smart, was super engaging and fun. It was very obvious that she loves what she’s doing and has a fun time doing it. She stopped at places I would never have taken a second glance at, and gave me some very cool tips and secrets. I felt that Ksenija really guided me through every place I visited, meaning she knew exactly where to walk for skipping crowds, where to stop, what to skip, explaining history, stories, etc. – everything was intentional. Her English was perfect, which was an added bonus.
I loved learning about the history of Belgrade, especially about the history of the Kalemegdan Fortress and hearing all of her interesting stories. Ksenija’s knowledge of Belgrade was unsurpassed.
I had a wonderful time (day) with Ksenija. From start to finish the arrangements went smoothly. I contacted Ksenija by email and booked in advance for my tour(s). Ksenija responded promptly to all my emails and was a pleasure to finally meet.
Loved Belgrade! Loved it beyond anything I expected – the food, the people, the architecture, the culture — it was bliss.
I’ve hired Xenia as a tour guide for both smaller and larger sized groups (from 3 to almost 20 people). Each time she has been able to create a nice report with the group and to stay in tune with their specific needs. Xenia is the perfect guide for your Belgrade visit – knowledgeable, with many great stories about Belgrade’s past. I would warmly recommend her services to anyone wanting new insights into this beautiful city.
I had my relatives from Slovenia visiting for a couple of days and wanted to give them a unique experience of Belgrade. Alex was a wonderful host, we had a lovely time exploring Kalemegdan and hearing amazing stories from the past-things you can’t read in travel books, which makes this tour so cool.
We also organised a walking tour in nearby Avala which is lovely in early spring and my relatives were delighted.
I highly recommend Walking Belgrade-look no further!
A Fortress With a View tour by WalkingBelgrade is not-to-miss experience in Belgrade. I was lucky to go on it as part of my honeymoon/wedding activities…. So wife, cousins from strange lands, and bunch of friends – and everyone loved it!… Before going on this tour we had tours in Prague, Nuremberg, Vienna, Budapest and many other European cities – and honestly this one was one of the best. Ksenija, our guide, was a delight – after spending few minutes with her we felt like she’s an old friend. She provided just enough information at just the right time, not overwhelming anyone with too much but still keeping the story engaging enough that no one noticed how much we walked. And there is plenty of walking, from Roman ruins under the library building to the old gunpowder depo at the other side of the fortress (but nothing too hard – even a person in our group that had a broken foot made it without problems)…. Oh, have I mentioned the underground wells and passages. Amazing! I could write much, much more about it, but it would not do it justice – the only way to appreciate it fully is to book it and enjoy the adventure.

Where ever i travel i love to stop at the farmers market. This time was not exception, and i was not disappointed at all!!!! It was fantastic !!! The smell, the colour, old and new, …. The best way to experience local life, taste the food and culture. Thank you Ksenija for intro to Belgrade.
I booked The City tour in October 2015, to be a kind of a welcome activity for a group of business partners from the US. They were very happy with the program and the guide. And I was relieved and saved two hours. Would do it again any time.
I must say that discovering Belgrade was an impressive experience for me. As our guide, Ksenija did a wonderful job showing us the City, the Serbian Culture, and its people. Belgrade’s best way of enjoying it is walking through its streets and breath more than 2,000 years of its proud History.
