Design and Architecture Exhibitions in Belgrade in May 2026
There are some real treats in store for architecture and design lovers this May in Belgrade.
Logos Designed in Socialist Yugoslavia, Still Loved by Locals

Photo: Tanja Drobnjak
The exhibition titled “Yugologo, The Signs by the Road“, showcases the logos of Yugoslav companies, institutions, and brands. Yugoslavia was proud of its rapid industrialization and keen to prove that socialist companies can be on par with the capitalist ones from the West.
Graphic design played a clear role in communicating that agenda. At the same time, it strongly influenced the collective aesthetic criteria of the Yugoslav people, which still resonate across what are now the former Yugoslav countries.
Most logos were created more than 50 years ago, yet they are still deemed good designs.
The Yugologo exhibition is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm until 19 May at the Museum of the Nineties, 3 Kneza Miloša Street.

During the exhibition. Visitors will be able to further transform the structure through collective practice and circularity, following the principles of composing and decomposing.
Unfolding Materiality is on view until 23 May, 4 pm – 7 pm every day except on Mondays, at BINA Kabina, at 1 Mila Milunovića Street.
